Christian Education

The Christian Education Department has classes for everyone, from the nursery to adults. Our teachers have an awesome task of making disciples who separate themselves from the world, observe the commands of Christ, and follow him with all their heart, mind and will. The Lord states in Matthew 28:19-20, "Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you."

Baby Class – babies are loved and songs are being sung to them (Birth – Walking).

Toddlers & Two's Class (Walking thru age 2) - Toddlers are taught the Word of God through stories, puppets and musical instruments.

Preschool Class – (3 and 4 year old) Bible stories are taught along with great arts & crafts projects.

Kindergarten Class – (5 & 6 year old) They learn the bible and also learn to memorize scripture.

Primary Class – (1st and 2nd grade) – At this age, they are learning to read Bible stories.

Middle Class – (3rd and 4th grade) – Lessons are quite exciting and memory challenges are great.

Junior Class – (5th and 6th grade) – Children are starting to develop a personal relationship with God and understanding who they really are.

Teen Class – (7th, 8th and 9th grade) – Worship is included in the beginning of the class along with prayer and deep Bible study.

Hi-Teen Class – (10th, 11th and 12th grade) – This class discusses life issues and how to deal with peer pressure God’s way.  We love our teens and try to guide them for their future.

 

 

 

 

NURSERY DEPARTMENT – (Birth – 2 years) We have loving and dedicated workers that faithfully serve every week during the time of our services.  PRESCHOOL CHURCH – (Ages 3 & 4)

These children are being prepared to enter children’s church. They sing songs, have a lesson, arts and crafts, and play fun games. CHILDREN’S CHURCH – (Ages 5 – 12) We believe the children are not the church of tomorrow, but rather the church of today. Our desire is to encourage the children to experience the Lord in a personal way.  Our children’s church is modeled after the adult worship services, which include worship, prayer, and testimonies.  Children learn to worship and experience the presence and power of God.  Lessons are taught every week using object lessons, bible illustrations, puppets, and challenging games.
